Mr. Delaney manages the firm’s receivership practice and oversees the company’s accounting and reporting departments. He is a 1979 graduate of the University of Michigan and is a licensed real estate broker and CPA.
Tracy is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Sales Person and has her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. Tracy Brown is the Senior Managing Director of Multi-Family Services for Friedman. She is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Sales Person and has her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She has more than 25 years of property management experience, including conventional market rate, section 8-11, section 8-D3 and LHITC. Prior to joining Friedman, she worked as Director of Property Management for a New York based firm overseeing a portfolio of properties in Detroit and Manhattan.
Stacey serves as a Director of Multifamily Management overseeing a portfolio of communities in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, North Dakota, and Mississippi. She has more than 14 years of experience in multifamily housing overseeing A, B, and C class properties. Her current portfolio includes conventional market rate, student, real estate owned, and receivership assets. Prior to joining Friedman in 2016, Stacey spent four years working in the Colorado Springs and Denver markets, overseeing operations and large scale renovations on new acquisitions. Stacey has a bachelor’s degree from Albion College.
Rebecca Cook serves as an Associate Director of Multi-Family Property Management for Friedman. She has worked in property management for more than 25 years and has experience with Market Rate and LIHTC Class A, B, and C properties. Prior to starting at Friedman, she most recently served as a Senior Regional Manager for a west coast based real estate investment and property management company. Rebecca has her CPM® with the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Rowe Shockley has an excess of 30-years of property management experience in a variety of markets throughout the nation. He has extensive experience in managing conventional, tax credit and affordable housing. Rowe has worked with developers, construction companies as well as state housing finance agencies to bring new construction sites to completion and full operational status. His experience includes working extensively with ownership to renovate and reposition sites to maximize their performance and profitability.
Tara Nucci, CPA serves as Associate Director of the Multi-Family Division of Friedman. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting from Michigan State University. Tara began her career at a local Chicagoland public accounting firm, Bansley & Kiener, LLP. In 2013, Tara began her career with Friedman Real Estate as the Senior Corporate Accountant. She was then promoted to Multi-Family Accounting Manager in 2015 where she has been overseeing the accounting functions of Friedman’s Multi-Family Communities since.
Megan Odell leads the in-house legal team at Friedman and manages the organization’s insurance team. Megan focuses on commercial real estate transactions, legal claims, legal compliance, affordable housing compliance, developing strong leaders and supporting the corporate culture. In addition, Megan oversees Friedman’s team in court-ordered receiverships for multifamily, office, retail, industrial, manufactured housing, and residential assets across the nation, successfully resolving distressed loans and preserving assets when Friedman is a court-appointed receiver in bankruptcy, state, and federal courts. Prior to joining Friedman, Megan’s practice was concentrated in commercial real estate finance, workouts and foreclosures (portfolio and CMBS loans), loan sales (performing and distressed), purchases and sales (including sales of REO property), and leasing transactions. She also represented receivers, national lenders, special servicers and businesses in state, federal and bankruptcy courts in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Delaware providing advice, due diligence, and legal strategy related to foreclosures, receiverships, bankruptcies, defaulted loans, and pursuing deficiency claims regarding securitized and portfolio mortgage loans in default secured by both core property types (office, retail, industrial and multi-family) and non-core property types (construction loans, health care, hospitality, restaurants, gas stations, golf courses, mobile home parks, self-storage facilities, and franchises). Megan is a licensed attorney in both Michigan and Ohio. She obtained her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University.
