This Saturday, March 13, 2021 is 313 day! This day was created to celebrate the city of Detroit. Founded in 1701 the city has a lengthy history, and is best known as the Motor City for being the heart of the American Automotive Industry. Detroit is home to Michigan staples such as Ford Field home of the Detroit Lions, the famous Lafayette Coney Island vs. American Coney Island coney dog battle, and the beautiful Bel Isle.
As a company who got its start in Metro-Detroit real estate this day holds a special place for us. We’ve grown and expanded through the years and continue to say connect with the Detroit community. From working with Metro-Detroit vendors, to building partnerships with other Detroit businesses we have watched the city grow, overcome, and triumph!
The purpose of 313 day is to celebrate the city of Detroit- its history, businesses, and successes! Ways to show love for Detroit this Saturday include shopping small, eating local, or taking the day to explore all the Motor City has to offer! With attractions such as the Detroit Riverwalk, Campus Martius Park, and the Detroit Institute of Arts there are a plethora of ways to enjoy and celebrate the city.
