Mr. Delaney manages the firm’s receivership practice and oversees the company’s accounting and reporting departments. He is a 1979 graduate of the University of Michigan and is a licensed real estate broker and CPA.
Tracy is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Sales Person and has her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. Tracy Brown is the Senior Managing Director of Multi-Family Services for Friedman. She is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Sales Person and has her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She has more than 25 years of property management experience, including conventional market rate, section 8-11, section 8-D3 and LHITC. Prior to joining Friedman, she worked as Director of Property Management for a New York based firm overseeing a portfolio of properties in Detroit and Manhattan.
Amy Young is the Director of Multi-Family Management overseeing a large multi-state portfolio and numerous Area/Regional Managers. She holds several industry recognized designations such as Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS), C6P, NCP, HCCP and AHM. Prior to joining Friedman in 2011, Mrs. Young was a Regional Manager for an industrial and commercial developer in Ohio. In her capacity, she was responsible for a portfolio of multi-family, commercial and condominium developments. From 2002 to 2005 Amy was the Regional Director for a portfolio of LIHTC and HUD communities.
Stacey serves as a Regional Property Manager overseeing a portfolio of conventional market rate communities in Michigan. She has more than 10 years of experience in multifamily housing as both a community and regional manager for A, B, and C class properties. Prior to joining Friedman in 2016, Stacey spent four years working in the Colorado Springs and Denver markets, overseeing operations and large scale renovations on new acquisitions. Stacey has a bachelor’s degree from Albion College.
Rebecca Cook serves as an Associate Director of Multi-Family Property Management for Friedman. She has worked in property management for more than 25 years and has experience with Market Rate and LIHTC Class A, B, and C properties. Prior to starting at Friedman, she most recently served as a Senior Regional Manager for a west coast based real estate investment and property management company. Rebecca has her CPM® with the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Laurie Kugler, CPA, serves as Accounting Director of the Multi-Family Division of Friedman. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University. Ms. Kugler began her career with Deloitte and Touche in Detroit. Laurie brings more than 20 years of experience from both public and private accounting. Most recently she worked in the Independent Senior Living Industry coordinating accounting services for 30+ properties.
Kristen Wolfe joined Friedman Real Estate in July 2016 as Director of Human Resources. She oversees a team accountable for professional development, workplace culture, talent acquisition, and the overall Friedman strategy for cultivating employee engagement and future growth. During her career, Kristen has served in multiple human resources roles, progressing in responsibility with each new position. Today, Kristen has 20 years of experience leading people through change in an array of settings from manufacturing and packaging, to consumer goods and the most recent, real estate. Kristen holds an MBA from University of Phoenix, as well as a bachelor’s degree in human resources management & organizational communications from Michigan State University. She holds both senior professional certifications in Human Resources from the Society of Human Resources Management (SCP SHRM) and the Human Resources Certification Institute (SPHR HRCI).
Carla Deisenroth is the Director of Marketing and Creative Services for Friedman Real Estate, where her mission is to build an industry-leading marketing practice. She currently manages the company’s communications, branding, and creative organizations. Carla and her team combine cutting-edge digital with traditional tactics to create innovative marketing for all our service lines. With extensive experience in both B2B and B2C marketing, Carla finds a balance between customer-centric strategy and result-driven execution. Prior to joining Friedman, she spent over 10 years creating and managing digital practices for a number of global companies within commercial and residential real estate, software, and technology. Carla most recently oversaw digital marketing services for a global consultancy company serving Forbes 1000 clients. Before that, she worked with Detroit Venture Partners and helped various start-up companies at all different levels build and execute their marketing programs. Carla holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management and Marketing from the University of Michigan.
Tony Landa is the Director of Acquisitions for Friedman Real Estate responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing multifamily real estate transactions. He is also responsible for leveraging Friedman’s existing operating platform to develop new fee-managed business. Prior to joining Friedman, Tony worked for a privately held real estate investment company responsible for acquiring commercial and multifamily real estate nationwide. Other experience includes spending several years with a prominent real estate investment manager in Atlanta, GA, where he worked in asset management, acquisitions, and joint venture development. Over the course of his career, Tony has been directly involved in more than $2.0 billion of real estate transactions. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance from Hillsdale College and earned an MBA from Wayne State University.
Megan Odell leads the in-house legal team at Friedman and manages the organization’s insurance team. Megan focuses on commercial real estate transactions, legal claims, legal compliance, affordable housing compliance, developing strong leaders and supporting the corporate culture. In addition, Megan oversees Friedman’s team in court-ordered receiverships for multifamily, office, retail, industrial, manufactured housing, and residential assets across the nation, successfully resolving distressed loans and preserving assets when Friedman is a court-appointed receiver in bankruptcy, state, and federal courts. Prior to joining Friedman, Megan’s practice was concentrated in commercial real estate finance, workouts and foreclosures (portfolio and CMBS loans), loan sales (performing and distressed), purchases and sales (including sales of REO property), and leasing transactions. She also represented receivers, national lenders, special servicers and businesses in state, federal and bankruptcy courts in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Delaware providing advice, due diligence, and legal strategy related to foreclosures, receiverships, bankruptcies, defaulted loans, and pursuing deficiency claims regarding securitized and portfolio mortgage loans in default secured by both core property types (office, retail, industrial and multi-family) and non-core property types (construction loans, health care, hospitality, restaurants, gas stations, golf courses, mobile home parks, self-storage facilities, and franchises). Megan is a licensed attorney in both Michigan and Ohio. She obtained her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University.
